Jessie Yvonne (nee Simmons) HOOPER

Passed peacefully at Jane Winstone Rest Home on Monday 20th July 2026, aged 86 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Ewen Hooper. Much loved mother and mother-in-law of Annette Hooper and Grant, Denise and Phil Touliatos, Helen and Lorry Diack, Michelle and Tony Boswell, Leonie and Vince Thomson, and Marlene Hooper. loved Nana and Great Nana to her 14 grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren. Friends are invited to celebrate Jessie’s life in the Cleveland Chapel, 179 Ingestre Street, Whanganui, on Monday 27th July 2026, at 10am, and will be live-streamed at www.clevelandfunerals.co.nz.

So sorry to find out today that Jesse had passed :(
She was a dear friend of my Mum June Anderson ❤️
I play Piano at Jane Winstones and regularly used to see your Mums smiley face and know she enjoyed my music 🎶

So sorry to hear of the passing of Jessie. We have fond memories of dancing with both her a Ewen and the times they visited us and us them. Love to all the family so sorry we cannot make it over on Monday, will be thinking of you all. Gerard and Lorraine. Dannevirke.
